Private Dining Access
Hard-to-book counters, intimate restaurants, chef introductions and dining chosen for the guest—not the algorithm.
JAPAN BY INTRODUCTION
A private perspective on dining, culture and place. Discreet access to exceptional restaurants, hidden bars, cultural experiences and places rarely found through conventional travel planning.
CURATED PERSONALLY
Japan rewards curiosity, but its most memorable experiences are often the least visible: a counter known through introduction, a neighborhood bar with no English presence, a chef who accepts only a handful of guests, or a night that unfolds because the right person knows where to go next.
Japan by Introduction is built for travelers who value judgment, discretion and access over checklists. Every experience is shaped around who you are, what you appreciate and how deeply you want to enter the culture.
Hard-to-book counters, intimate restaurants, chef introductions and dining chosen for the guest—not the algorithm.
Small bars, wine rooms, late-night destinations and the places that only make sense once someone takes you there.
Craft, sake, design, neighborhoods and cultural experiences selected for depth rather than visibility.

It is to show you the right ones.”
THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND JAPAN BY INTRODUCTION
Japan by Introduction is informed by nearly two decades of professional experience across Japan and New York, spanning business, hospitality, restaurants, wine and guest service.
Its perspective comes from years spent working inside Japanese hospitality: building relationships with chefs, restaurateurs, wine professionals, suppliers and guests, while understanding what international travelers are actually looking for when they arrive in Japan.
That experience allows Japan by Introduction to go beyond recommendations. The focus is on judgment, context, discretion and access—helping guests find places and experiences that suit them personally rather than simply following the most visible names.

A NOTE ON ACCESS
Many of the restaurants and establishments involved are small, privately operated or reservation-restricted. Access is always subject to availability and, in some cases, personal introduction.
For that reason, specific names and contacts are not published as a directory. The service is built around curation and relationships, not a list of addresses.
